Our Story

Today, Agape Romanian Pentecostal Church from Knoxville numbers over 100 people in total, including children. As with any church, Agape had humble beginnings, not too far long ago. Here are some of the most important milestones so far:

Important Milestones

In September 2022, Agape Romanian Pentecostal Church was established in Knoxville.

​

On September 11th 2022, the first service opened. The first couple of services took place in the gym of "My Father's House" church in Lenoir City.

​

On November 13th 2023, Agape RPC met for the first time at the new location, on Eaton Forest Lane in Lenoir City.

​

On April 30th 2023, first ministers were ordained in the church: Pastor Aurel Persteniuc, Presbyter Matthew Solovastru, Deacon Daniel Bârâiac and Deacon Ciprian Hintar.

​

On October 8th 2023, the first baptism took place: 10 candidates professed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.
